The non-breaking space is your friend

Do you remember the non-breaking space? They’ve been trying to help you out, but you’ve been ignoring them. You owe them an apology.

I’m guilty of this just as much as you, and I’ll show you why.

This is my sentence that goes
over three lines this is the final
word.

How much does it suck that the final word is on a new line? Some of you will think “meh”, but your friends will see this and some of them will get angry. Others will think, right I’m going to put a <br> in there and make sure that word is never on it’s own.

Well that’s just great until
this is the
final word

Damn, I left a big hole in my paragraph.

With responsive layouts this can happen a lot as the text reflows within the flexible layout.

But there is a simple solution. You can use a non-breaking space (&nbsp;) between the two final words, and the final word will never be lonely.
